Misty was born in Oklahoma, and slowly moved west across the United States until she reached the ocean. She eventually settled in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she now works full-time as an artist. As a child, she was sure that she was going to be a writer when she grew up. Along the way to becoming a writer, she became an actress, a waitress, a veterinary technician, and a research scientist (among a few other roles).
Pangolin Parasols Studio is a shelter for all of Misty’s creative work, and a way to nerd out and connect with those who have like-minded curiousity and senses of humour.
